A corn popping nine percent response rate for EMC 'backup' mailing.
In May we reported on the rise of direct mail and we’re seeing a continued uptake.
Sending toffee popcorn with a cinema ticket offer, created an appetite for further information driving website registrations. Look out for ‘Backup to the Future’ II!

We understand how challenged Chief Information Officers (CIOs) are for time these days.
We've recently developed a dual approach DM campaign to CIOs and their PAs for an exclusive CIO event for EMC, variously containing: the finest artisan chocolates and Robert Welch cutlery, to achieve some real cut through!
With time at a premium, it was a sure way to get their attention and entice them along to find out all about the powerful integrated data solutions EMC have to offer. |

During this summer Silver has had the pleasure of spending time with three hard-working and delightful placement students - Jackson Black, Helena Bullock and Sophie Andrews
Firstly, Helena and Sophie joined us as part of our Smart Start programme from their respective local secondary schools. They were both given a summer themed brief, creating their own music festival and designing the logo and overall branding. The pair created a series of marketing communications and it was great to see their very creative ideas and skills develop into a professional response to brief.

Secondly, we were pleased to welcome Jackson Black, final year student studying for an HND at Gloucestershire College – trust us, his name is as cool as he is. We put his creative abilities to the test with EcoCreeper's 'Urban Hype' magazine and he successfully rose to the challenge.
We look forward to hearing about their progress in the future. Jackson you have a job when you've completed your final year! |

People and Organisational Development UKI asked Silver for a design review resulting in a 'peas in a pod' motif incorporating EMC's colour palette.
This aligns with their core objective of bringing people together and is allied to a series of striking 'blue food' posters for a number of 'Learning Bites' lunchtime development workshops.
Nicola Drury of People and Organisational Development UKI said:
"As a team we are thrilled with our new 'POD' identity. The designs for the 'Learning Bites' programme have caught the attention of our colleagues. There is a buzz around the office, all attributed to the blue food!"
