Read about our night in the bright lights of Bristol to see the 70's punk band, The Damned.

The Silver team have just enjoyed a night out in Bristol to see 'The Damned' - a punk band from the 70's, consisting of band members Captain Sensible, Dave Vanian, Monty Oxy Moron, Pinch and Stu West. They were famous for working with the Sex Pistols and Motorhead and The Damned are best known for their songs, 'Eloise' and 'Nasty' (amongst others). It brought back memories of our visit to see The Stranglers earlier this year (also at the O2 Academy), and involved a similar fan base no doubt. Whilst it may not have been everyones cup of tea within the team, we all appreciated their presence on stage and the fact they have been going strong for over three decades!

Of course it was important to start the evening with good food, good banter and a glass of wine - which we went to Pizza Express in Clifton to do. On that subject, we were really impressed with the food and the new look Pizza Express have adopted. The black and white stripes tip their hat to their Italian roots and look really effective.
